Download the OCLP uninstaller
Download OpenCore-Patcher-Uninstaller.pkg from the download page when you need to remove the app, LaunchAgent, and PrivilegedHelperTool. That package does not revert root patches or delete OpenCore from EFI by itself.
- Match the uninstaller version to the OCLP build you installed when possible.
- Revert root patches before you remove the only working graphics or WiFi path if you still need that Mac.
- Keep a bootable USB ready before you delete EFI/OC.
The manual uninstall steps

Step 1
Revert root patches
Open OCLP, go to Post Install Root Patch, and choose Revert Root Patches. Monterey and later support snapshot reversion. Big Sur may require reinstall.

Remove the application
Use OpenCore-Patcher-Uninstaller.pkg from the download page to remove the app, LaunchAgent, and PrivilegedHelperTool.

Step 3
Remove OpenCore from EFI
Mount the EFI partition and remove the EFI/OC and System folders. Do not delete the whole EFI folder because it may contain Windows or Linux boot files.

Step 4
Reset NVRAM
Reset NVRAM after removing OpenCore to return boot variables to a cleaner state.
Before removing the bootloader
After removing OpenCore, your Mac may no longer boot newer patched macOS and may show the prohibited symbol.
Prepare a bootable USB drive with OpenCore or a natively supported macOS installer before removing the bootloader.
